My fascination with models began in my schooldays. At college I began using models to explain my ideas when studying three-dimensional design. Going on to practise exhibition design, I used models to develop a design and usually managed to ensure the exhibition included at least one model. Eventually I gave in to my passion and specialized as a modelmaker.
This portfolio covers 30 years of work which falls into three categories: topography, replicas and a developing specialism in natural history models.
Most of the work has been commissioned to be displayed in museums, heritage centres, wildlife trust visitor centres, zoos and aquariums.
